eBusnCard - the eDistributable Business Card

Use Case Description: eBusnCard Project.

Description

An online business card.

A concise personal and / or business data object. It would be embeddable in correspondence or applications and it could export itself to all the usual contact managers. It would by default display itself as a graphic representation of a business card or print itself out in a typical business card format. It would be a smart card that carries multiple methods including, but not limited to, multimedia presentations related to your business and services, be interactive and contain a larger data store of information to retrieve in various forms. The possibilities grow as I enumerate them. Ultimate implementation as a java Webstart app is envisioned in its prototype, and later as an xml file incorporating all the features discussed and expanded upon.

Actors

• Owner is the card creator and distributor of the card. The information content of the card is about this actor
• A card recipient. Anyone who receives a copy of the eBusnCard application. This user may be primary (receiving directly from the owner) or secondary (receiving card application forwarded by a primary receiver)
